Best played on a PC with a keyboard. The game interface is in Japanese - you type hiragana words using romaji (Latin letters), so it's great practice if you're learning Japanese.
An idle typing game where every key you press sends popcorn popping and piling up. Type to fill your container and it keeps upgrading: cup → bucket → truck → building → whole city. Even when you stop typing, your facilities keep roasting popcorn on their own, so it quietly grows while you're away. A nice companion for typing practice, too.

How to Play
Click the game once to give it focus, then just type the romaji prompts. You upgrade using the on-screen buttons (keyboard keys 1, 2, 3).
- 1. Level Up: increases how much popcorn each keystroke makes. The basic upgrade for strengthening your manual typing
- 2. Buy Facilities: add auto-roasters like frying pans, microwaves, and factories. This is what determines your idle production
- 3. Variety Research: ranks up your popcorn variety, sending your per-keystroke output shooting up. Reach for this when you stall out
After that, just keep typing, keep popping, and bury the whole world in popcorn. Buying a few facilities before bed and waking up to "look how much it grew!" is a perfectly good way to play, too.
Developer's Note
Every keystroke sending popcorn popping just feels great. What starts as a single cupful ends up burying trucks and entire cities in popcorn, and I love that ridiculous sense of scale. The post-clear bonus, especially, is built to crank the satisfaction up even higher.

- It's a keyboard game, so we recommend playing on a PC.
- Does it keep going while I'm away?
- Yes. Once you buy some facilities, they keep producing popcorn automatically even while your hands are off the keyboard.
- Is it good typing practice?
- Popcorn pops as you type romaji, so it's a fun way to practice. Since the words are Japanese (shown in hiragana, typed in romaji), it doubles as Japanese typing practice.
